Since October 2021 I am a PhD student in the research groups “Experimental Cognitive Sciences” and “Machine Learning in Sustainable Energy Systems” and the within the Cluster of Excellence – Machine Learning for Science at the University of Tübingen. Furthermore, I am part of the International Max Planck Research School for Intelligent Systems (IMPRS-IS).

My current research focuses on fault detection and optimization of solar thermal systems using machine learning techniques. Here I place a focus on incorporating prior knowledge of the underlying physics.
